Yesterday I posted on the keynote address by Dr. Bernard Amadei, a rousing start to the first day of IPCC 2013.  I am happy to report that the remainder of Day 1 was similarly energizing.  Unfortunately I wasn’t able to make it to every session (at times like these, a couple of clones with cameras would be handy), but I was able to get photographs in each session I attended.  You will see friends and colleagues in the pictures below, all sharing their expertise, research, and experience to conference participants.

Later tonight we will recognize the accomplishments of many of our society members.  In addition, we will award the first Hayhoe Fellow, a new award that recognizes the contributions of long-time PCS member, Dr. George Hayhoe, Mercer University.  More pictures will be coming soon!
