Dr. George Hayhoe named as interim Editor in Chief

PCS is pleased to announce that Dr. George Hayhoe has agreed to serve as the interim Editor in Chief of the IEEE Transactions on Professional Communication, effective 1 January 2016. Dr. Hayhoe has extensive editorial experience having served for 12 years as editor of Technical Communication and for two years as a member of the IEEE Technical Activities Board Periodicals Committee.

Dr. Hayhoe replaces Dr. Saul Carliner, who has served as the Transactions editor for the past five years, and is stepping down to pursue his teaching and research full time.

The Editorial Advisory Board expects to name a permanent editor by 1 July 1 2016. Qualified applicants should see the EIC position announcement for details.
