Experience designing and delivering instruction to help English professional language development for multilingual students will be considered an asset. Experience in graduate level writing and communication instruction, particularly in genres such as proposals, research articles, and theses would also be beneficial to the application. Additionally, experience in the integration of additional transdisciplinary competencies such as team skills, leadership, ethics and equity, lifelong learning, and other CEAB graduate attributes is preferred.

The successful applicant will teach in multiple courses and programs, contributing to the Engineering Communication Program’s mandate to integrate communication across the core undergraduate curricula.

Evidence of excellence in teaching and a commitment to excellent pedagogical inquiry can be demonstrated through teaching accomplishments, awards and accolades, presentations at significant conferences, the teaching dossier submitted as part of the application (with required materials outlined below), and strong letters of reference.

Equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) are essential to academic excellence and to the success of our department.
