Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Worldwide is searching for a Risk/Crisis Communication specialist to become part of a collaborative initiative in Emergency Services and Communication. This tenure-track assistant professor position begins in August 2019.

The College of Arts & Sciences (COAS) and the College of Aeronautics (COA) at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University—Worldwide (ERAU-W) announce an exciting new initiative for strategic growth in Human Security as defined by two interrelated areas: Emergency Services and Communication. In support of this initiative, COAS and COA are forming a cluster of new tenure-track Assistant Professor positions that, combined with existing faculty, will promote ERAU-W as a national leader in these areas.

Required Qualifications: A doctorate in the discipline or a related field is required. Applications should include a current CV and a detailed letter discussing faculty experience, academic qualifications, and background that demonstrate a fit with COAS or COA and the position. Candidates are required to secure three professional letters of recommendation, to be submitted confidentially by the references.

Preferred Qualifications: Ideal candidates will have both academic and career experience that will enable them to investigate real issues at the cross-section of these disciplinary areas. Given the applied, interdisciplinary nature of the positions, at least three years of professional experience is highly preferred.
