Call for Nominees: Jay R. Gould Award for Excellence in Teaching Technical Communication

The Society for Technical Communication (STC) is seeking nominees for the 2017 Jay R. Gould Award for Excellence in Teaching Technical Communication
The Award recognizes educators who have made an outstanding contribution to teaching in technical communication, and to be eligible for the Award, nominees must
- Be a current member of the Society for Technical Communication (STC)
- Have belonged to the Society for Technical Communication (STC) for at least ten years
- Have been involved in post‐secondary education for at least fifteen years
- Have made teaching technical communication the primary focus of their career
Anyone may nominate a candidate for the Jay R. Gould Award, and nominations for the Award are due by 5:00pm US Eastern Time on Friday, 21 Oct. 2016. All nominations should be sent to Kirk St.Amant via email at kirk.stamant@gmail.com All eligible nominees will be contacted shortly after 21 Oct. 2016 to inform them of their nomination and to request materials for review.
