Bell-bottom jeans, disco music, and a Dodge Dart–if you take a look at consumer culture, you would suspect that we are in the midst of a 70’s revival.  In the case of PCS, you need look no further than the PCS Newsletters Archive, now available on the PCS website.

These newsletters first began appearing in August 1970 and covered a variety of topics of interest to working engineers.  I can’t count the number of times that presidents of other IEEE societies have approached me at the Technical Activities Board meeting and asked about the Newsletter.  While our website and our new Digital Content Editor, Alan Chong, fulfill the function of our previous Newsletter, there is a lot of content that is still relevant.  So I will be diving into the archive from time to time to unearth another gem from PCS history.  Please let us know what you find in your own explorations!
