The 19th International and 55th Annual Conference of ELTAI (English Language Teachers’ Association of India) based on the theme “Lessons Taught, Lessons Learned: Teacher and Learner Narratives,” was held at Christ University, Bengaluru, India, from November 12 to 15, 2025.  A total of 1000 delegates attended. As part of the outreach initiative of IEEE Professional Communication Society, Divya John, ProComm Member, represented the Society and organized a conference stall for a membership drive at the conference venue.

All four days of the conference, Divya and colleagues interacted with the participants and shared the necessary information about the IEEE Professional Communication Society, its annual conferences, and publication opportunities.  More than 100 delegates visited the stall, and many of them mentioned that they had not known about IEEE ProComm previously. Therefore, the initiative helped us to increase the visibility of ProComm and create interest in the Society’s activities.
