Abstract
Join us at 10:00am ET on Monday, 3 November 2025, for an informative webinar featuring the Vice Chair of the IEEE Fellow Committee, together with a standards expert from the IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS) as they share insights into the IEEE Fellow nomination process. Moderated by Edward Au, Chair of TAB Committee on Standards, this session explores the nuances of becoming an IEEE Fellow through the Standards Contribution category. Joe Hughes, Vice Chair of the IEEE Fellow Committee, will provide a comprehensive overview of the nomination process, while Lorraine Padden, an elevated Fellow from the Class of 2024 who also served on the IAS Fellow Evaluation Committee for the 2025 and 2026 Fellow Classes, will share her firsthand experience and lessons learned throughout her journey. Whether you are considering nominating someone or aiming for Fellow status yourself, this webinar will provide practical advice and expert perspectives to guide you through the process.
