IEEE Constitution and Bylaws Revisions, Approved March 25th, 2025

Dear members,

On December 7th, 2024, the IEEE Professional Communication Society BoG approved a new Constitution and Bylaws. These revisions to our governance documents were approved by IEEE’s VP, Technical Activities on March 13th, 2025 and are being posted here for comment and review until March 15th. Please send all comments, questions, and objections to alan.chong@ieee.org, ProComm’s Immediate Past President.

According to our Constitution, “the amendment becomes effective unless at least ten (10) percent of the Society members object within thirty (30) days after the publication or distribution of [the] notice of changes.”
