IPCC 2013 kicked off Sunday evening on the beautiful campus of the University of British Columbia Vancouver.  Registration opened at 3:00 PM, and we had the chance to greet old friends and meet new ones.

The conference swings into gear today at 8:00 AM with the keynote address by Dr. Bernard Amadei, professor of civil engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder and the Founding President of Engineers Without Borders.  Professor Amadei will accept our society’s highest award on Tuesday evening on behalf of EWB.

The program is set, the presenters are here, and we are ready to go.  The next three days are going to be great!
