ProComm2015 Signpost

It’s been a decade since the IEEE Professional Communication Society has held its conference in Limerick, Ireland. In 2015, ProComm is headed back to the University of Limerick!

In preparation, proposals are now being accepted for full papers, brief papers, extended abstracts, workshops, and panels. For a complete explanation of the categories, see our Author Resources page. Proposals for all categories are due by January 15, 2015 at 10pmET.

We look forward to seeing proposals about all aspects of engineering communication, whether in the classroom or within your technical organizations.  Typically, our sessions span a wide variety of topics–teaching, training, managing, translating, and innovating from all sectors in the engineering and technical fields. Share and explore the ways in which technical work gets done, the ways that best practices are put into place, the methods by which you train or teach, and your reflections on those activities. Of course, we want to hear about the newest things to come, too! Our keynote and featured speakers will bring engaging topics from work and from academia to stretch our minds even more.

As you wrap up your year-end activities, and as you reflect on work done this year, last year, and even in the last decade, keep ProComm 2015 in mind. We look forward to seeing you there!
