Reva Schwartz is a research scientist at the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s (NIST) Information Technology Laboratory (ITL). She serves as Principal Investigator on Bias in Artificial Intelligence and leads the NIST ARIA Program which seeks to advance measurement science for the risks and impacts of generative AI. Her research focuses on evaluating the societal impacts of AI systems, improving organizational practices, and driving understanding of socio-technical systems.
